Nona Krupatkina Memorial Seminar

This scientific memorial seminar will be dedicated to Nona Krupatkina. Nona started working at COMB in the 1980’s before IMET moved into the Columbus Center and has been involved with our Institute ever since. Nona worked in the IMET laboratories of Gerardo Vasta, Frank Robb and Al Place and also worked closely with Tsetso Bachvaroff and Ernest Williams. Nona was an excellent microbiologist with great skills in growing many organisms especially micro algae. She also served for many years as IMET's unofficial photographer, taking photos at so many IMET events, student graduations and birthday celebrations. Nona was an incredible person and will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
