Public Event: 'A Plastic Ocean' Screening and Discussion

September 07, 2017 at 4:30pm to at 6:00pm

The Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) is hosting a screening of 'A Plastic Ocean'. This film discusses the harm the plastics we use every day cause to our oceans, the animals that inhabit the ocean, and ultimately all of us. Following the viewing, one of the film's experts, Dr. Michael Gonsior of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), will be present to share some of his insights and to answer any questions. There is a limited amount of space for this event, so please make sure to let us know you are coming by signing up on our Facebook page.

Let us know if you're interested in attending!
