BioAnalytical Services Laboratory (BASLab)

The BioAnalytical Services Laboratory (BASLab), operated by DMB partners at the Columbus Center, provides state-of-the-art instrumentation and training to conduct routine analytical, synthetic and separation projects. The lab works primarily with scientists at IMET, but also offers these services to investigators working at other institutions.

The facility is equipped with ABI 3130 and PE 310 capillary DNA sequencers with sequencing & GeneScan software, Typhoon 9410 multi-imager, Storm phosphoimager, ABI 7500/TaqMan fast real-time monitoring thermocycler and Eppendorf epMotion 5070 robotic liquid handling station.

  • PCR Product Clean-up & DNA Sequencing
  • Genotyping
  • Clone Library Construction
