The “Blue Crab DNA” movie is created by Lisa Moren, with photography assisted by Dr. Tsvetan Bachvaroff. The concept is by Dr. Russell Hill with DNA sourced by Dr. Tsvetan Bachvaroff. The Blue Crab Genome Project is led by Dr. J. Sook Chung at IMET. Special thanks to IMET and CIRCA at UMBC.
The Blue Crab DNA music is composed with an algorithm by Jan Willem Kolkman that translates text, in this case DNA [acgt] to music.
