REEF Program inspires UMCES entrepreneur

IMET's REEF program wrapped up with great presentations from all of the students. Morgan Ross, a student at UMCES' Horn Point Laboratory won the award for best presentation. Her business idea is to develop a wearable toxin sensor for Brevetoxin aerosols. Brevotoxins are produced by the harmful algal bloom (HAB) Karenia brevis, also known as the Red Tide.
