IMET and UMBC researchers treat PCB-contaminated wetland tidal channel in Wilmington DE for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control (DNREC)

Dr. Kevin Sowers of UMBC-IMET and Dr. Upal Ghosh of UMBC are working to decrease PCB contaminants in the Christina River in Delaware. They're using a combination of SediMite and microbes to naturally break down PCBs through a process called bioremediation.
