IMET invites you to our free annual Open House on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

This year, we’re taking the fun outside to Pierce’s Park behind the IMET building partnering with the Department of Public Works’ Big Truck Day. Enjoy a day of engaging with the public through hands-on STEM activities, touch tanks, and marine science exhibits. It’s a chance to highlight IMET’s research and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders. 

• Marine life under the microscope 

• DNA discovery with pipettes and lab tools 

• Meet-the-scientist stations 

• Outreach tables with kid-friendly science fun 

• Touch tanks and activities
